Marriage is defined as the social institution that binds a man and a woman in a covenant and joins them together as husband and wife. The wedding reception, on the other hand, is celebration that follows the ceremony, usually a banquet or a simple feast. During this time, the groom, as well as the bride, is asked to deliver a wedding speech. Here, now, is how a speech groom looks like.

To begin your speech, remember to provide your guests with a simple greeting. Take a look at this example: “A pleasant afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! On behalf of my gorgeous bride, I would like to formally welcome you to our wedding reception. My sincerest wish is that you’re all enjoying yourselves on this special day.”
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being here. You don’t know how much it means to us that so many of our friends and relatives have gathered here today to help us celebrate this wonderful occasion. Honestly, I must say that it would not have been the same without you.”
After you have thanked your guests for gracing your wedding with their presence, you may share with them brief anecdotes about how your romance blossomed. But first, you have to choose which particular stories to tell first. You can talk about how you and your bride met, how you realized that you were in love, the trials and challenges you’ve faced as a couple, and how you decided to take on life’s challenges together bound in the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony, how you proposed and how your bride said yes, and the steps you took in planning your wedding.
Once you’re done thanking your guests, it is time to thank the reason you’re truly happy on that day – your bride. You may say something along these lines: “And now, to my beloved wife, I wish to thank you for saying yes and for deciding to spend the rest of your life with me. Hearing those words gave me the hope and strength I needed in this life. It was like nothing could ever go wrong as long as I have you. You made me the happiest person alive that day, and I will forever cherish that moment. What I can promise you is that I will protect you always and that I will love you until the day I die.”
